This years ANZAC Day Service was held on the last day of Term 1, Friday the 13th of April at Piara Waters Primary School due to the actual ANZAC Commemorative day being during our school holiday period.

We would like to thank the following dignitaries who joined us and contributed to our service: Matt Keogh MP – Federal Member for Burt, Deputy Mayor Ruth Butterfield, RSL Member Anthony Wilton, Chief Petty Officer Marine Technician – Submariner Scott Schluter, Councillor Carol Frost, WA Police Pipe Band Member Mr Chris MacDonald and Dr Kenneth Nathan – our School Board Chairperson.

We would also like to thank and congratulate our Student Leaders for a fantastic job in leading our successful ANZAC Day program.

Thank you to our Students who contributed Art pieces to our ANZAC display, we have some very talented students.

Our Library ladies also created an amazing ANZAC display in our Library for our Students, Staff and Parents to view.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Mr Chris MacDonald of the WA Police Pipe Band who donated additional time to talk with our students after the ANZAC Service.
