Lockdown Drill

Today, we will be conducting a lockdown drill. During this practice, your child’s classroom’s doors and windows will be locked and the students will be asked to sit on the mat with their teacher. This is a short and routine safety procedure.

If your child comes home on Wednesday afternoon explaining that they participated in this lockdown practice, there is no need for concern. It's part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure school environment.  Classroom teachers will also talk about the Lockdown practice with students prior to the drill.
