Year 2 Excursion to Kalamunda History Village

Year 2 students will be going to the unique heritage destination, Kalamunda History Village, to enhance their learning of the Year 2 History Curriculum.

Further details will be advised closer to the date.

There will be a cost for the excursion to cover the bus and the entry fee, which will be advised later.

NAPLAN Numeracy Assessment (Year 3 and Year 5)

NAPLAN is a national literacy and numeracy assessment that students in Year 3 and Year 5 sit each year.

Piara Waters Primary School students in year 3 and 5 will be undertaking the assessments on the following dates/date ranges. 

  • Numeracy Test - Monday, 16 March

Students who are absent will only have until the 19 March to complete the testing. 

Students and parents are encouraged to use the public demonstration website to familiarise themselves with the assessments.

Harmony Day - Wear something orange or traditional dress - Kindy A students

Piara Waters Primary School will celebrate Harmony Week on Friday, 20 March.

*Kindy A students may dress up on Wednesday, 18 March as they do not attend on Friday. 

KINDY A students, staff and parents are encouraged to wear something orange, OR wear the traditional dress of their country of origin.
