Piara Waters Primary School is transitioning to a new online school management system called Compass Education to manage student information, attendance and class schedules.
Some families will already be familiar with Compass as it is already in used at other schools, such as those local to us - Piara Waters Senior High School, Harrisdale Senior High School and the South Metro PEAC.
Compass allows PWPS parents to:
- monitor their child’s attendance
- enter an explanation for absence or lateness
- view your child’s timetable and school calendar
- provide consent for some school events such as excursions and incursions
- view documented plans / IEPs for identified students (we are progressively uploading these)
- view information about your child attending the sick bay
On Tuesday, 25 February 2025, we sent out login details and information to all of our parents. New enrolments after this date have also received login information when their child commenced. Each parent will receive this via email.
Please be aware that emails sent to parents from the front office or teachers through our Compass platform, may contain the ‘compass.email’ domain name. If you are not sure, please speak to your child’s teacher.

- Visit the Compass Education website and choose Piara Waters Primary School.
- Or, download the Compass Education App from the Apple store or the Google Play store.
