Kindy Mother's Day Activities - Group A

Piara Waters Primary School

To help us celebrate Mother’s Day, you are invited to our classroom for a special activity session on Monday 11 May, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. 

Aunties or Grandmas are welcome to join if you are unavailable on the day. Be prepared to have lots of hands-on fun with your child. If possible, please find alternative care for siblings to allow you to spend quality time with your Kindy child. 

Please enter through the gate next to the basketball courts, which will be open for mums to enter between 1:30 pm and 1:35 pm. If you arrive after this time, you will need to enter via the front office. 

Please bring the Parent Volunteer form with you.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask your child's classroom teacher. 

Running Club

Piara Waters Primary School

Running Club is open to all students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Come along and join running club every Tuesday morning in term 2 and 3. 

Parents and siblings are welcome.

7:45am on the school oval. 

Year 1 Excursion - Armadale History Museum

Year 1 students will be visiting Armadale History Museum to enhance and support their learning of the History Curriculum. Consent and payment details details will be sent via Compass in Term 2. More details as to which rooms going on which days will be advised closer to the excursion days.

Kindergarten Parent Workshop

Piara Waters Primary School

Kindergarten parents and carers are invited to an information workshop presented by the Kindergarten teachers. A key focus of this workshop is the important reading and maths skills your child needs to learn this year, to ensure they do not fall behind in future years.  The workshop will cover the following topics:

• The Kindy curriculum – what a student learns in the year
• The importance of assisting your child’s learning at home
• Strategies and resources to develop your child’s learning 

Today’s workshop will be held in the school library from 8.30am – 9:10am

Another workshop will be held in the school library on Wednesday 20 May from 1:45 - 2:25pm

Parents do not need to book to attend; please just attend the session that is convenient to you.

Assembly starts at 8:30am in the Undercover Area.
