French Crepes Incursion (Year 5 and 6)In French, students in Years 5 to 6 have learnt how to complete a shopping transaction at the bakery. To further their knowledge, the Miam Miam crêpe van will be visiting our school today. Year 5 to 6 students will have the opportunity to use the language learned in class to carry out their purchase (in French). Crêpe choices are sugar, lemon sugar, cinnamon sugar, caramel, or strawberry jam. Additional options are fresh strawberries, banana and whipped cream. Cost will be advised later. |

City of Armadale Library Services - Better Beginnings Reading Program (Kindy A)Trent Tascon-Guillaume, from the City of Armadale Library will be visiting the students in Kindy A to tell them about some of the fun things the library has available for students. Better Beginnings is a Western Australian family literacy program that connects families with books through free reading packs. The goal is to inspire a love of literacy and learning for all children by encouraging families to read, talk, sing, write and play with their child every day. More information about the Better Beginnings program for Kindergarten can be found here. Pre-Primary students can access the program here. |

2027 Year 6 Student Leader Nomination Forms Due2027 Year 6 Students interested in nominating for a student leadership position, either Student Leader or Faction Captain, are to return their form to the front office by today. Nominees will then prepare a short speech which will be presented to all Year 4 and 5 students later in the term. |

World Teachers Day - Dress Up As A Teacher DayToday, we acknowledge our excellent teachers on World Teachers’ Day. Students are encouraged to come dressed as teachers to celebrate our talented team of teachers. This is a day to thank our incredible educators for all they do to educate, inspire, and empower our learners. You may also like to let our teachers know how much you value them. World Teachers’ Day acknowledgement slips will be available from the front office closer to the date.

Icy Poles for Sale (Lunch time)On Friday, Kindergarten to Year 6 students may bring $1 to purchase an icy pole at lunchtime. All proceeds go to the 2027, Year 6 camp. As well as a fundraiser, this is also an opportunity for students to learn money skills. Students are responsible for taking care of their $1 and lining up to make their lunchtime purchase. Icy Poles will be on sale each Friday at lunchtime in the Undercover Area. |
