The Year 6 graduation ceremony will be held on the evening of Monday, 14 December, on the school oval.

Families will need to reserve tickets and more details will be advised closer to the date.

Year 6 End of Year Excursion - Outback Splash

The Year 6 students are off to Outback Splash at 9:00 am and will return at approximately 4:30 pm. 

We will put a notice in Connect if the bus will be late. 

Students must ensure they have a hat, recess and lunch, sunscreen, towel, bathers and enclosed shoes.  A rashie is recommended.

Parents will be notified via Compass.

Kindy to Year 6 Semester 2 Reports Available

Semester 2 reports will be published for Kindergarten to Year 6 students this afternoon. These are available for you to download from Compass and/or Connect. We encourage you to download your reports and save them for your own future reference. If your child leaves Piara Waters Primary School, you may no longer have access to the reports through Compass or Connect. This is especially important for Year 6 parents!

To access reports via Compass app:

1. Log in to Compass app.
2. From the homepage, click on your child’s profile picture.
3. Click on the Reports tab.
4. Click on the name of the Semester Report cycle to view and download a copy of the PDF report (2026 - Semester 2 Reports)
5. Some students will have more than one report, these will be named 2026 - Semester 2 SEN Reports and/or 2026 - Semester 2 EALD Reports)

Or - to access reports via Compass website:

1. Log in to Compass school website.
2. From the home screen, click on the ‘View Academic Reports’ item or navigate to the ‘Student Profile’ and click the ‘Reports’ tab.
3. A list of ‘Academic Reports’ will be displayed. Click the report title to download the PDF.

Or - to access reports via Connect:

1. Log in to Connect and click on the My Children tab.
2. Tap on your child’s name and then Reports.
3. Tap on the Year Menu and select 2026 Semester 2
4. Click on a report to download it. It can be viewed on the screen or sent to a printer. 

If you are using the App, you may need to update to the latest version of the Compass/Connect Now app.

If the interview box on your child’s report has been ticked, your child’s classroom teacher will make contact with you to arrange a time to meet.

This evening is our End of Year Conert and Book Awards where we celebrate the amazing achievement and work of our students during the year at Piara Waters Primary School.

Students last Day of 2026 School Year

Today is the last day of the 2026 school year for students. 

Goldie Draw

This morning, we will conduct our last Goldie Draw for the year. Students who are drawn out of the box and attending school will have the opportunity to pick a prize from the prize box.

Year 6 and Leavers Arch

From 2:20 pm, we will be farewelling our year six students through our student archway, out the gate near the art room, and onto the lawn area in front of the school office.

Students and staff (K-5) leaving our school are invited to join the departing arch. 

The school gates will be open at 2:15 pm if parents wish to join our final farewell to our students.  

We wish everyone a safe, restful summer break. We look forward to welcoming students back, recharged and ready for a new school year.
