This morning, our current Kindy B students will have the opportunity to meet their 2026 class teacher and peers. The transition morning will occur from 9:00 – 10:30am.

All parents of students returning to Piara Waters Primary School will receive an email with their 2026 class details. Class lists will also be placed outside 2026 classrooms on Monday afternoon to assist students with their transition.

You will find a list and photographs of our 2026 classroom teachers and a classroom map on our school website. 

Parents will not need to sign in but enter through the Early Childhood gate at 8:50am.  Please take your child to their 2026 Pre-primary classroom ready for 9am.  You then need to return to collect your child at 10:30am.  Parents do not attend the Pre-primary to Year 6 transition classes.

A social story has been written to help support students know what to expect during the transition morning.

Parent Volunteer Morning Tea

This morning, we say a BIG thank you, to all the parents and other family members who have tirelessly helped at school this year by coming along to a special morning tea in the staffroom from 10am to 10:50am.

Colour Run (P&C fundraiser)

P&C Colour Run (major fundraiser)

Our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) will hold their major fundraiser on Friday, 12 December.  All funds raised will go toward more outdoor equipment across the Kindergarten to Year 6 play areas.

Their annual Colour-a-thon requires students to collect sponsorship for participating in the scheduled run.  

For every $10 raised, students will receive a ticket into the prize draw.  Prizes will include a Bike (voucher $200), Razor Ripstick, Lego and various sporting equipment and games.

On the day, students will wear a white shirt and run around the oval whilst being “coloured” by our staff and P&C volunteers.

Timing to be confirmed closer to the date.

  • Kindergarten (A&B) and Pre-primary run 1:00 pm – 1:20 pm
  • Year 1 to Year 3 run 1:25 pm – 1:55 pm
  • Year 4 to Year 6 run 1:55 pm – 2:25 pm

Kindergarten A students are also invited to attend.  Parents who wish to bring their Kindy A children to the oval for the 1- to 1:20 pm session.  

Sponsorship forms and money (either into the P&C box or via QKR) are due by Monday, 8 December.  Prizes will be drawn at the end-of-year concert on Wednesday, 17 December.

Icy Poles for Sale (Lunch time)

On Friday, Kindergarten to Year 6 students may bring $1 to purchase an icy pole at lunchtime.  All proceeds go to the 2026, Year 6 camp. 

As well as a fundraiser, this is also an opportunity for students to learn money skills.  Students are responsible for taking care of their $1 and lining up to make their lunchtime purchase. 

Icy Poles will be on sale each Friday at lunchtime in the Undercover Area.
