All students should be recording home reading in their Reading Logs at least four times each week.
Before bringing their Reading Logs to school to be checked by their teacher each Monday, it is their responsibility to update the total number of days they have recorded this year.

Home reading milestones are recognised at either a classroom or school level throughout the year.

• 10 days – 1 Gold tokens from the class teacher
• 50 days – 5 Gold tokens from the class teacher
• 100 days – a Certificate of Achievement from the principal (and 10 Gold tokens)
• 150 days – a Certificate of Excellence from the principal (and 15 Goldi tokens)
• 200 days – a Remarkable Reader Certificate and pin from the principal

Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend.

Reading Recognition Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, 4 November .

• Kindergarten - Year 2 Reading Recognition Ceremony from 1:30pm - 2:00pm in the library
• Year 3 – Year 6 Reading Recognition Ceremony 2:00pm - 2:30pm in the library

2026 Year 6 Students interested in nominating for a student leadership position, either Student Leader or Faction Captain, are to return their form to the front office by today. 

Nominees will then prepare a short speech which will be presented to all Year 4 and 5 students later in the term.
