Running Club is open to all students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Come along and join running club every Tuesday morning in term 2 and 3. 

Parents and siblings are welcome.

Junior Choir (Year 2/3) is at the Music Room from 7.45am - 8.30am 

All students should be recording home reading in their Reading Logs at least four times each week.
Before bringing their Reading Logs to school to be checked by their teacher each Monday, it is their responsibility to update the total number of days they have recorded this year.

Home reading milestones are recognised at either a classroom or school level throughout the year.

• 10 days – 1 Gold tokens from the class teacher
• 50 days – 5 Gold tokens from the class teacher
• 100 days – a Certificate of Achievement from the principal (and 10 Gold tokens)
• 150 days – a Certificate of Excellence from the principal (and 15 Gold tokens)
• 200 days – a Remarkable Reader Certificate and pin from the principal

Reading Recognition Ceremonies will be held today from 2:00pm – 2:30pm in the library. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend.

Semester 1 reports for your child/ren will be available for you to download from Compass and Connect. You can use the Compass website or Compass app or Connect website or the Connect Now app to access your reports.  

To access reports via Compass app:

1. Log in to Compass app.
2. From the homepage, click on your child’s profile picture.
3. Click on the Reports tab.
4. Click on the name of the Semester Report cycle to view and download a copy of the PDF report.

To access reports via Compass wesbite:

1. Log in to Compass school website.
2. From the home screen, click on the ‘View Academic Reports’ item or navigate to the ‘Student Profile’ and click the ‘Reports’ tab.
3. A list of ‘Academic Reports’ will be displayed. Click the report title to download the PDF.

To access reports via Connect:

1. Log in to Connect and click on the My Children tab.
2. Tap on your child’s name and then Reports.
3. Tap on the Year Menu and select 2026 Semester 1
4. Click on a report to download it. It can be viewed on the screen or sent to a printer.  

We encourage you to download your reports and save them for your own future reference. If your child leaves Piara Waters Primary School, you may no longer have access to the reports through Connect. This is especially important for Year 6 parents!

If the interview box on your child’s report has been ticked, your child’s classroom teacher will make contact with you to arrange a time to meet.
